How does Social Judo Protect My Privacy?

As a parent, we need to make sure that our kids are safe while using their smartphones.  Please read carefully the Privacy statement on the home page to see how we protect that Privacy.

How much do you charge per child?

Our price is all inclusive up to six children on your account.

What support options do you offer?

All our users enjoy support via email or chat, on a best-effort basis. Our Insights package users receive priority support that includes phone/Skype support.

Why do we prioritize support? So we can focus on customer support and do our best to give all of our subscribers as much personal attention as possible. We always strive to respond to every inquiry as soon as possible. Our support team members are combat wounded and disabled American veterans working from home.

Can I cancel my Social Judo account?

Cancellation. You may cancel your Social Judo subscription at any time. WE DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR ANY PARTIAL-MONTH OR YEARLY MEMBERSHIP PERIODS. To cancel, please contact Social Judo Customer Support at (800) 422-8161 or email us at support@socialjudo.com.

.Can I upgrade/downgrade my plan?

Absolutely. You can change your plan anytime. To upgrade, just click on one of the banners within the app or send us an email and we’ll do it for you. To downgrade, contact our support and we’ll move you to the lower plan.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. You are not bound by any long-term contract and can cancel anytime without any cancellation fees.
If you cancel, your account will remain active until the end of the current monthly billing cycle (i.e. if your monthly billing cycle runs from the 15th of each month and you cancel before that date, your account will remain active until the 15th of the month. Your subscription will be refunded on a prorated based on the monthly fee.)

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, American Express,Visa, MasterCard, Discover Network and Diners Club International.

Do you require me to Jail Break the Apple phone or Root the Android phone?

No, we don’t.

What about Texting While Driving?

We now have a tool that can disable the ability to text, email, surf the web, play games, Tweet, post to Snapchat or Instagram, take selfies and much more, we call this tool DRIVING JUDO.  This new tool was built for the 16-17 year old driver.  Calling Mom or Dad and of course calling 911 IS ALWAYS ALLOWED.  In three steps and in less than five minutes you will have Driving Judo up and running – ready to enable safe driving. No tools required, just create your account online, download the Driving Judo app, and attach our transponder to your windshield. That’s it!

What stops your child from disabling Social Judo?

We know your teen is smart, but so are our engineers! They’ve incorporated a number of measures that prevent tampering or disabling of the app, and/or notify parents when tampering or disabling is attempted. If the child powers off the phone, or gets off of the Cloud, the application/service will not work and you will be sent an alert. A history of these events is accessible in your Social Judo parent portal.

What does it mean when you say “Ask the MSW?

We have “Masters of Social Work” Services staff that are experts on the use of social media by teens and tweens.  We have weekly sessions where you can join and ask any question you might have.
